A Bridge To The Twentieth Century

After the Caucus Loss In Iowa: Hillary Clinton with Bill and Chelsea;
Over Hillary's Right Arm Peer The Hawk-Like Eyes of Former Sec. of State Madeleine Albright
,
Was the slogan on the podium "Ready for Change" meant to be ironic? Writer F. Scott Fitzgerald's Jay Gatsby sunnily asserted, "Can't repeat the past? Of course you can, old sport!" Yet he protagonized the greatest tragic novel in American literature. Let's hope other American voters do their reading as well as Iowans apparently have. It's time for the country to move on and embrace a new and better political era.

With her gunboat diplomacy and her love for big business, she's a bridge to the 19th century!

I see that since her coronation was thwarted, she's a veritable whirligig of warning as she goes around telling Americans we don't dare dream of anything better than her right wing politics. "Dream Of Nothing, Tremble Before Terrorism, And Pay Up Your Health Premiums On Time, Careworn Peons!" -- that should be Clinton's slogan.

You're right, Michael, in saying it's time for America to leave behind regressive Clintonism.

Yes, Richard.

I am hoping for a crushing defeat for Hillary and the end of Clintonism in New Hampshire today.
